The bar loader allows the ingots to be stored and transported to the furnace by means of the pusher.
There are several technical solutions: the best known is the storage of individual ingots with accessibility for loading. The most recent version is particularly useful for the extrusion of different alloys thanks to its flexibility in material handling. It offers the possibility of storing different types of bars, which are deposited to a roller chain by means of a crane, and released according to the needs of the production.
The pusher receives the bars from the storage area through a roller path and the machine transfers the bars to the ingot furnace by means of a carriage pushed by an electric reduction motor driven by a chain. The control of the movement sequence is carried out through a series of position sensors and an encoder placed in the motor reducer itself, all managed by a PLC.
