Log heating furnace

The furnace heats the ingots of ambient temperature to the extrusion temperature (indicative 480-500 º C), guaranteeing the operation of the press in full production regime.

The KAUTEC furnaces are direct heating, divided into different zones, each of which is equipped with its own pilot flame and probe to control the temperature, all managed by a PLC. There is an indirect heating zone that provides energy savings by recirculating the hot combustion gases and injecting them at high speed to the rear of the furnace. With this system increases the profitability of the furnace.

The furnace can be equipped with a tappering system used to obtain a gradient in the ingot temperature and be able to extrude at a constant temperature (isothermal extrusion).
